Maintenance Tips

Bleeding the HVAC System

  • All HVAC work in your unit is contingent upon your building having a working HVAC valve.  Most work of this nature will need to be conducted during the Spring or Autumn seasonal HVAC system “shut-down”, wherein WFCA Inc. drains the HVAC system and lets the pipes “rest” for 2 weeks between temperature shifts (hot water in the winter produces heat, cold water in the summer produces air conditioning).
  • All HVAC and domestic water system repairs and maintenance must be conducted between 10am and 2pm, Monday through Friday.  These windows are designed to provide a minimum of inconvenience to your neighbors, several of whom will have no service while you perform the needed work within your condominium.
